I read an article this week, telling us about the influence of yin virtue on life. If a person does not have enough yin virtue, then life will be very rough. On the contrary, if the yin and virtue are great, then this life will be smooth sailing, with a thousand blessings and a thousand auspicious gatherings. And yin virtue is obtained by doing unknown good deeds. The so-called yin virtue is rewarded by the sky, and the yang virtue is famous in the world. Of course, when it comes to yin and yang, we have to talk about karma and virtue accumulation. In today's society, if we look at the code of conduct formulated by ancient sages, we really do nothing but create karma and lose virtue all the time, from deliberate harm. Living beings, from fighting, cursing and swearing, to pornography, gambling, drugs, etc. that no one knows about, and many other things, all are wasting our merit and owe unnecessary karma. In contrast, there are very few people who can achieve yang kindness, and even fewer people who accumulate yin virtue.

This week, into October. The weather is gradually getting cooler, the leaves are gradually changing color, and the most magnificent scenery of the maple country is about to appear in everyone's field of vision. People began to wear thick clothes and thick quilts. But whenever I walk on the pedestrian street and look at the people who put on thick clothes to keep out the cold, I don’t know why, I always think of those groups that are not valued by people: small animals.

Maybe this topic has been raised many times, and maybe many people don't care about this topic, but I still hope that people can let go of their past prejudices and have some compassion and care for wild animals. Because they have no fixed source of food, their living environment is replaced by human buildings and parks. Not to mention the harm and threat that people have caused to animals, and not to mention that people should feel unbearable and guilty about it, because now there are very few people who can think of the above points. But what cannot be ignored is that animals still live around us, and our behavior may be decisive for these little creatures.

In the past two weeks, more and more animals have appeared in the field of vision, and I have seen the famous Canadian bird: blue J. Small brown squirrels, huge badgers, and two of the cutest animals I find: skunks and raccoons. As for these two animals, I also have a lot of feelings, like recording them and sharing them with everyone.

Raccoon: Raccoon is not an unfamiliar topic. In the photo section of our website, you can see the video of the raccoon, as well as the article "The Pain of the Raccoon" that many people have read. But one night last week was my first close-up look at a raccoon. I was cleaning up the kitchen when there was a sound from the glass door and a raccoon appeared outside the door. And the raccoon didn't run away because it saw me, but cast a complicated look. I don't know if I felt right, but I think the raccoon's eyes were full of pity, hunger, and a hint of fear. Looking at such raccoons, I really feel sorry for these small animals, especially because North America has the prejudice that raccoons are hated animals, so that even if they live in a "democratic society", they cannot achieve a truly well-fed life.

Skunk: The most common medium-sized animal seen these months is the skunk, which is recognizable by its black and white fur. Sometimes we find skunks in the backyard looking for food, which are cute, but can also see the same fear of people as raccoons. And that's not the main thing, I'd say we've seen skunks four times in the past month, two times in the backyard and two times on the road, two by cars Crushed skunk. Skunks have unpleasant gas in their bodies, and after being run over by a car, the smell is so pungent that everyone passing by will scoff at it. But who would have thought about the trouble with these skunks? Of course, the fact that the car crushes the animal does not only happen to the skunk. I just want to use this specific example to tell everyone that the probability of animals being "unconsciously" injured by people has become higher and higher. In this area where we live , we will see one case every week on average. Shouldn’t people take this matter seriously?

Having said so much, I actually hope that more people can treat these poor little lives out of kindness. There are many animals in the world that need help. Maybe we can't save them all, but every time we help a little life , will think of a scene, a little boy picks up a small fish in a puddle that is about to dry up and throws it into the sea. When someone asks him why he did it, he obviously can't save all the fish. The little boy's answer was: "Even if I can't save all of them, I can save this one!"
